These captioned Petitions are filed under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ("the Act") seeking extension of the mandate of the arbitrator.

In Commercial Arbitration Petition No.84 of 2024, the mandate had expired on February 14, 2024, and the Petition under Section 29-A of the Act was filed on February 13, 2024. In Commercial Arbitration Petition No.139 of 2024, the mandate had expired on March 31, 2024 by AARTI GAJANAN PALKAR Date:

Since these Petitions were filed, the mandate was deemed to have continued and the proceedings have continued under such framework. 4.

Today, when the matter is called out, Learned Counsel for the parties jointly submit that they would be agreeable to extend the mandate of the arbitral tribunal for a period of six months from today. 5.

In these circumstances, both these Petitions are finally disposed of with the hope that the arbitral tribunal that is hearing both these matters concurrently and intends to pass a common Award completes making the award by July 6, 2025.

All actions required to be taken pursuant to this order shall be taken upon receipt of a downloaded copy as available on this Court's website.
