These are Petitions under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking an extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal.

The Petitioner in both these Petitions has been resolved pursuant to Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process under Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 in January 2024.

Today, when the matter is called out, Learned Counsel for the parties jointly submit that they have no quarrel with an extension of mandate by a period of one year from today.

In these circumstances, taking into account the stage at which the Arbitral proceedings are placed, these Petitions are finally disposed of extending the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for a period of one year i.e. until July 31, 2026.

Learned Counsel for the Respondent acknowledges that there has been compliance with the directions issued on the last occasion and email to this effect dated July 20, 2025 is taken on record. In these circumstances, the parties shall proceed to arbitration pursuant to the extended mandate.

All actions required to be taken pursuant to this order shall be taken upon receipt of a downloaded copy as available on this Court's website.
