This is a Petition under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ("the Act").

Since the matter did not have a specific date assigned, it was listed today for ascertaining the status of the arbitration proceedings. Today, when the matter is called out, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petition was filed on September 23, 2024, since the mandate of the arbitral tribunal had expired on July 23, 2024. Learned Counsel on record for the Respondent states that he has no instructions in the matter since he has not been able to reach his client and is under the belief that the Respondent is in jail. by AARTI GAJANAN PALKAR Date:
