In so far as Interim Application (l) No.1621 of 2025 is concerned, learned counsel for the Defendant does not have any objection and in any view of the matter, the amendment is entirely formal in nature and would Meera Jadhav
2/2 28-ia-1287 -25.doc have to be allowed in the substantive cause of justice. Interim Application (L) No.1621 of 2025 is accordingly disposed of. In so far as Interim Application (L) No.1287 of 2025 is concerned, after hearing the learned counsel, I am of the view that given that the Interim application essentially is to bring on record certain facts and this is a pretrial amendment, for the reasons set out in the interim application, the same would have to be allowed. However, learned counsel for the Defendant has sought time to take instructions and if necessary, file affidavit in reply within a period of two weeks from today.
Reply to be filed within two weeks from today. List the interim application for hearing on 14 th January 2026.
