Pursuant to order dated 10th July 2024 today when the matter is listed and called out, Ms. Gadre, appears for MIDC and submits that a sum of Rs.11,,76,23,739=52 has been deposited with the office of the Prothonotory and Senior Master of this Court on 12th July, 2024. Thereafter, notice under Rule 1 Order 12 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 with respect to the ceasing of the running of interest has been served upon the Applicant. Ms. Gadre also submits that she has instructions to have the matter kept for final hearing.

Mr. Samantray appearing for the Applicant expresses his surprise at the non acceptance of the offer to settle the matter submitting, however, that the matter be expeditiously heard.
