This is an application seeking post-grant amendment to the Succession Certificate dated 18th September 2019 issued in respect of the securities and debts of the deceased Laxmiben Shantilal Shethia, who expired on 13th July 2004. Learned counsel appearing for the applicant submits that, inadvertently, in the schedule of assets at serial number 5, the wrong share number was stated and he requests to correct the share number. 43-IA-1818-2024.odt The Schedule of Assets to the Testamentary Petition refers to 7,500 equity shares of Navneet Education Limited and the description of the shares is 3678739 to 3678635 and the Succession Certificate was accordingly issued. By the present amendment, the share number is required to be corrected to 3678736 from 3678739. Considering the nature of the amendment, it is a correction of a clerical error and hence can be allowed. The interim application is allowed. The amendment to be carried out within a period of three weeks. Re-verification is dispensed with. Post-amendment grant expedited. The application is disposed of accordingly.
