Heard the learned Counsel for the Applicant.

This is an application for post grant amendment in the Letters of Administration.

The Letters of Administration were granted by an order dated 2 September 2023. In the Schedule of assets, it was mentioned that the immovable property at Sr. No.A1 was held by the deceased on ownership basis. However, in fact, the deceased had tenancy rights in the said premises. Hence, this application to substitute the words 'tenanted' in place of 'ownership' in the Schedule of assets in accordance with the Schedule of amendment (Exhibit D to the application). 4.

Having regard to the nature of the amendment, I do not find any impediment in allowing the post grant amendment. SSP 1/2

Hence, the Application stands allowed in terms of prayer clause (a). 6.

Necessary amendment in the Petition so as to correct the description of the property in the Schedule of assets in accordance with the Schedule of amendment (Exhibit D) be carried out within a period of two weeks. 7.

Re-verification dispensed with.

Post amendment, grant be issued expeditiously. 9.

The Interim Application stands disposed.
