The Petitioner had approached the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Contempt Petition (C) No. 367 of 2020 in Civil Appeal No. 8555 of 2019. The Hon'ble Supreme Court clearly expressed in it's order dated 4th June, 2020 that the Contempt Petition was not being entertained with liberty, that if the Petitioner files a Petition in this Court, the same may be decided expeditiously.

This matter was admitted on 3rd September, 2020. The final hearing was scheduled on 19th October, 2020. Since then, before various Benches, adjournments occurred.

By an order dated 31st July, 2023 passed by this Court [Nitin Jamdar (as his Lordship then was) and Sandip V. Marne JJ.], this Petition is listed in the weekly board commencing from 7th August, 2023. 3.

In view of the above order, list this Petition in the weekly final hearing board commencing from 27th January, 2024. 4.
