Learned counsel for the defendant submits that an application is filed on the administrative side for clubbing the suit filed by the defendant with this suit. He submits that the decision on the application is still awaited.

INTERIM APPLICATION NO. 1990 OF 2025 .

This application is filed by the defendant for condonation of delay of 58 days in filing the written statement. Learned counsel for the defendant submits that the application along with the written statement is filed within the stipulated time of 120 days. He submits that the reasons for the delay are explained in the application in paragraph nos. 6 to 9 of the application.

Learned counsel for the plaintiff submits that in view of the reasons stated in the application, there is no serious objection for condonation of delay. In the facts and circumstances of the case and the for the reasons stated in the application, the delay is condoned and the application is allowed in terms of prayer clause(a).

The written statement shall be filed by the defendant within Page no. 2 of 3

two weeks from today.
