Interim Application has been preferred seeking condonation of delay of 817 days caused in filing the affidavit of proof of claim before the Official Liquidator.

Learned counsel appearing for the Applicant submits that there was delay in filing the affidavit of proof of debt of Rs.50,000/- which was a fixed deposit in the company under liquidation. 3.

Learned counsel for the Official Liquidator fairly does not oppose the Application. The delay of 817 days in filing the affidavit of proof of debt is condoned under Rule 177 of the Companies (Court) Rules, 1959.

Interim Application is allowed.
