Heard on Interim Application No. 1250 of 2025, an application seeking setting aside/recalling of order dated 2nd January, 2025, rejecting Interim Application No. 3340 of 2024 for want of prosecution, which was filed for restoration of the writ petition and order dated 19th August, 2024, dismissing writ petition for non-prosecution.

After hearing the learned counsel for the applicant/petitioner and for the reasons assigned in the affidavit, with a view to afford an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and taking into account the fact that a litigant should not suffer on account of lapse on the part of the counsel, we recall both the orders dated 2nd January, 2025 and 19th August, 2024, subject to payment of costs of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty-Five Thousand Only), payable within a period of one week from today, failing which, the writ petition shall stand dismissed without reference to the Bench. The costs shall be paid to the Maharashtra State Legal Services Authority, account details of which have been provided as follows:
