The present Interim Application is filed seeking a post grant amendment to the Schedule appended to the captioned Testamentary Petition, which was filed for Succession Certificate in respect of certain securities belonging to one Sikander Lal Sarna S/o Lt. Sh. Devidayal Sarna alias Sikander Lal ('the deceased'). This Court had vide an order dated 18 th January 2024 granted the Succession Certificate in favour of the Applicant/Petitioner. Mugdha

Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the Applicant/Petitioner today submits that after the grant of Succession Certificate, the Applicant was informed by the Company that the certificate numbers and distinctive numbers of the said 149 shares are not mentioned in the said grant and also informed that there is a typographical error in one of distinctive number mentioned in the said grant.

However, on a query from the Court as to where this was stated in the present Interim Application, Learned Counsel then pointed out that the same does not find mention in the Application. In my view, the post grant amendment cannot be sought for in such a casual manner. 4.

Learned Counsel for the Applicant at this stage seeks leave to file an Additional Affidavit setting out all these facts. Leave as prayed for is granted. Additional Affidavit, if any, to be filed on or before the next date. 5.
