Heard the learned Counsel for the applicant.

This application is preferred to correct the amount and description of the debts and securities in the succession certificate granted by an order dated 31st January, 2024. In the application it is averred that post amendment, it was realized that few items of the securities in the schedule are required to be deleted and two more items and securities are required to be added.

Anisha Raleigh D'souza, the other heir of the deceased has given her consent for the grant of amendment. The proposed amendment appears to be in the nature of 1/2
21-IA3676-2024.DOC correction of inadvertent error and omission in mentioning the debts and securities. I do not find any impediment in granting the application.

Hence, the following order:

(i) Application stands allowed in terms of prayer clause (b). (ii) Necessary amendment in accordance with the Schedule of Amendment be carried out within a period of three weeks from the date of uploading of this order (iii) Post amendment grant expedited.
