Present petition has been filed for following relief: "B.

To issue directions under Article 226 of the Constution of India to the respondent No. 3 District Superintendent of Land Record, Aurangabad to decide the appeal as per the direction of Deputy Director of Land Record, Aurangabad who has passed the order in Appeal No. SR-653/2002 dated 29.04.2003, within one month from the order of this Hon'ble High Court;"

Heard learned advocate for the petitioner. Learned AGP waives service of notice for all respondents. 3.

Upon instructions from Respondent No. 3, learned AGP makes a statement that said appeal would be decided within a period of [1]

It is to be noted here that the appeal has been filed in the year 2003 and yet not decided. It was tried to be submitted on behalf of Respondent No. 3 that parties are taking adjournments. In this connection, we should observe that when the concerned authority has power to control the adjournments, they should have control over the same and cannot blame the parties. The appeal is more than 20 years old now. In such circumstance, we dispose of the petition by directing Respondent No. 3 to decide the said appeal within a period of one month from today.
