The order granting interim maintenance under Section 24 of Hindu Marriage Act by Civil Judge Senior Division, Beed in H.M.P. No. 66 of 2025 is subjected to challenge in this petition by husband. 2.

The Respondent/wife has filed proceedings under Sections 13(i), (i-a) of Hindu Marriage Act before Civil Judge Senior Division at Beed. In said proceeding she filed an application under Section 24 of the Act seeking monthly interim maintenance a Rs.25,000/- per month. Admittedly, Petitioner/husband is employed as Junior Engineer under establishment of Panchayat Samiti, Kalamb and he receives a monthly emoluments although a suspension order is passed against him.

Learned Civil Judge Senior Division has considered the salary 940 WP 216.2026.odt

certificate of Petitioner for February, 2024, which shows that Petitioner is receiving the monthly emoluments of Rs.38,254/-. Undisputedly, Petitioner possess some agricultural land. The Respondent/wife is taking care of a minor daughter and needs maintenance for herself and daughter. 4.

In this backdrop, interim maintenance of Rs.10,000/- granted by Civil Judge Senior Division is not excessive and unjustified. No ground is made out to cause interference in the impugned order. In view of this, writ petition stands rejected.
