The petitioner /defendant No. 17 has instituted this petition primarily seeking direction for expedite hearing and disposal of RCS No. 90 of 1997.

Having regard to the pendency of the suit, for almost 28 years, without delving into the assertions in the petition, the petition stands disposed with a request to the learned Civil Judge to hear and decide RCS No. 90 of 1997 as expeditiously as possible and, preferably, within a period of one year from the date of communication of this order.
