Having heard learned counsel for the parties, we require the presence of the Regional Officer, Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB), Pune who has passed the proposed directions contained in the letter dated 30th December 2024, exhibited as Exhibit 'J' to the writ petition for our assistance. 2.

Learned counsel representing the MPCB shall have complete instructions, specially as to how and in what manner the enforcement policy embodied in the notification enclosed with the writ petition at pages 114 to 127 is being implemented not only qua the petitioners but any other cases as well.

We have been informed by learned senior advocate representing the petitioners that the last date of submission of the explanation to the letter dated 30th December 2024 had expired yesterday. We extend the said time by 13th January 2025.
