By this Writ Petition, the petitioner is seeking direction that tribe claim of the petitioner of belonging to 'Thakur' Scheduled Tribe pending before the Tribe Scrutiny Committee since 24.07.2025 be decided expeditiously.

Learned counsel for the petitioner pointed out that the vigilance cell enquiry has already been completed but the report has not been served upon the petitioner.

Since, it is only that the report of vigilance cell inquiry is to be served upon the the petitioner and petitioner is supposed to file his reply and the matter is to heard finally. We are inclined to issue directions as prayed for.

Considering the same, we direct the respondent/Caste Scrutiny

2 931.doc Committee to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of three months from today. 6.
