Heard the learned advocate for the petitioner. 2.

The present petition has been filed seeking directions to Respondent No.1 to grant the retirement benefits of the deceased employee in accordance with the Maharashtra Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1982, and to decide the representations made by the petitioner within a stipulated period of time.

Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had made several representations dated 15.12.2022, 23.05.2023, 22.06.2023, 12.08.2024, 05.02.2025, and 21.07.2025 to Respondent No.1 seeking grant of retirement benefits of the deceased employee; however, Respondent No.1 did not take cognizance of the said representations.

Learned AGP waives service of notice for respondents No.1 to 3 and upon instructions from respondent No.1, makes a statement that the said representations would be decided within a period of six weeks from today. The said statement is taken as an undertaking. 4.

We dispose of the writ petition by directing respondent No.1 to decide the proposals dated 05.02.2025, and 21.07.2025 within a period of six (6) weeks from today.
