Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

A limited grievance in the Petition is that despite the order passed by this Court on 24th November 2025, the Appeal preferred by the ARUN RAMCHANDRA SANKPAL Petitioners against the order passed by Respondent No.1-Municipal ARUN RAMCHANDRA SANKPAL Date: 2026.01.14 09:36:05 +0530 Corporation, has not been heard.

The learned Counsel for the Petitioners submits that, in terms of the said order, the Petitioner has preferred the Appeal on 28th November 2025. However, despite direction of this Court, to hear and decide the Appeal within a period of three weeks thereof, the Appeal has not been heard.

This Court was persuaded to direct the State Government to hear and decide the Appeal against the order passed by the Respondent No.1-Municipal Corporation within a period of three weeks, as the plant of the Petitioner was ordered to be closed.

In this view of the matter, it is expedient that the State Government decides the Appeal in conformity with the order passed by this court.

Ms. Jadhav, the learned AGP, submits that an endeavour would be made to expedite the hearing of the Appeal.

Let the Petitioner appear before the State Government on 19th January 2026. The State Government shall decide the Appeal preferred by the Petitioner; a copy of which is annexed at Exhibit "C" to the Petition, as expeditiously as possible, and, in any event, within three weeks from 19th January 2026.

In the event of default, the Court would be constrained to initiate an appropriate action for disobeying the order passed by this Court. 9.
Petition disposed.
