CORAM: SMT. VIBHA KANKANWADI AND HITEN S. VENEGAVKAR, JJ.
DATE : 20th JANUARY, 2026 ORDER :
1.
Present Petition has been filed for following reliefs:- "B.
By issue of appropriate writ, order or direction, the Respondent Nos. 2 to 6 may kindly be directed to conduct a proper, fair and time-bound inquiry into the complaints dated 09.10.2025 and 31.10.2025 submitted by the petitioner as well as the letter dated 6.11.2025 issued by the respondent No.6.
C.
By issue of appropriate writ, order or direction, direct Respondent Nos. 2 to 5 to take appropriate departmental action against the concerned Gram Sevak, Sarpanch and other responsible officers/officials based on the findings of the inquiry.
wp-551.26 D.
By issue of appropriate writ, order or direction, the Respondent Nos. 2 to 5 may be directed to initiate inquiry in the matter as per the application of the petitioner dated 09.10.2025 and 31.10.2025 within specified period." 2.
It appears that upon the complaint made by the petitioner, the committee was appointed and by communication dated 6th November 2025 it was informed that the inquiry would be completed and report would be given within a period of two weeks. According to the petitioner, the inquiry is not yet concluded.
3.
We hope and trust that respondent Nos. 5 to 10 would take appropriate steps to conclude the inquiry and we expect that respondent No.3 would get the inquiry report from the committee as early as possible. We do not find this to be a fit case where we should interfere under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.
4.
With these observations, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
