CORAM : SMT. VIBHA KANKANWADI AND HITEN S. VENEGAVKAR, JJ.
DATE : 08 APRIL, 2026 PER COURT :- 1.
Perused the communication from the learned Charity Commissioner, Maharashtra State, Mumbai. He seeks extension of three
(3) months' time to decide the application filed by the petitioner on 11.08.2025.
2.
We observe that it should not take much time for transfer of papers from one authority to another authority, i.e., from the Jt. Charity Commissioner, Nanded to the Charity Commissioner, Mumbai. When we are moving towards paperless Courts and offices, transit of documents should not be one of the hurdles. However, considering the factual situation that the parties are from Nanded and the hearing will take place at Mumbai, we grant three (3) months' time to the learned Charity Commissioner, Mumbai to decide the application filed by the petitioner.
