In this Petition, the Petitioner has challenged a direction dated 12/11/2024 issued by the Divisional Joint Registrar, CoOperative Societies under Section 79 of the Maharashtra CoOperative Societies Act, 1960 (for short, "MCS Act") , by which the Petitioner-Bank has been directed to give benefit of interest subvention scheme amount to the farmers at the time of recovery of the crop loan amount, who were regularly paying the crop loan on due date as per Dr.Punjabrao Deshmukh Interest Subvention Scheme in Satara District. 2/2 13 WP-670-25.odt addition, a direction has been sought not to insist on the implementation of the direction dated 18/06/2007 under Section 79-A of the MCS Act.

Issue notice to the Respondents, making it returnable on 03/03/2025. Mr.Dighe, learned Addl.Govt. Pleader waives notice on behalf of the Respondents and prays for an adjournment to file an affidavit-in-reply and four weeks' time is granted.

In the meanwhile, no coercive steps shall be taken against the officials of the Petitioner Bank. 4.
