At the outset, the petitioner has placed on record a copy of the covering letter dated 24th February 2026, whereby it is indicated that the proposal of the petitioner was submitted to the office of the Deputy Director of Education, Kolhapur Region, Kolhapur on 12th February 2026. The said communication is taken on record and marked "X" for identification.

The grievance of the petitioner is that a direction be issued to the Deputy Director of Education, Kolhapur Region, Kolhapur to decide the adn

915-WP-704-2026 pending proposal dated 25th February 2026 within a stipulated period. 3.

In view of limited grievance raised by petitioner, we proceed to pass following order :

(i) The Deputy Director of Education, Kolhapur Region, Kolhapur is directed to decide the individual proposal of the petitioner dated 4th October 2025 which was submitted on 12th February 2026 within a period of eight weeks from the date of production of this order. (ii) The Deputy Director of Education, Kolhapur Region, Kolhapur shall decide the said proposal after granting an opportunity of hearing to all concerned parties and by recording cogent and valid reasons. 4.

All the issues are expressly kept open of both the parties. 5.

The Writ Petition stands disposed of.
