Present petition has been filed for direction to respondent No. 3 to grant approval to the order of termination dated 01.11.2022 issued by the petitioner against one Shri. Narayan Raibhan Kolte who was working in-charge Principal of Shivaji High School, run by the petitioner institution. The petitioner also prays that the respondent should decide their representation dated 07.11.2022.

Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that said Narayan Kolte has not filed any proceedings challenging the termination order dated 01.11.2022.

We are not going into the disputed facts and we are not 14-WP-788-2026.odt

making any kind of comment in respect of rights or liability of any party into the facts of the case. The only fact we will consider is that the representation has been made by the petitioner on 07.11.2022 for granting approval to the appointment of new Headmaster i.e., Mr. Bhaskar Bandu Sasane.

Learned AGP waives notice for respondent Nos. 1 to 4 and upon instructions from respondent No. 3 makes a statement that the said representation would be decided within a period of six weeks. The said statement is taken as undertaking.

We dispose of the petition by directing respondent No. 3 to decide the said representation within a period of six weeks from today on its own merits.
