The Petitioner's pension has not been released. His SUNNY ANKUSHRAO THOTE representations dated 25th March, 2023, 5th December, 2023 and 7th September, 2023, are pending with Respondent No.3. 2.
In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off with a direction to Respondent No.3, to follow the due procedure laid down in law and deal with the representations of the Petitioner, SUNNY THOTE
22-WP-877-2025-(C).odt together, and take a decision as regards release of the pensionary benefits of the Petitioner. If there is no legal impediment, the said representations be decided within a period of 45 days from today, and if the Petitioner is entitled for the pension, appropriate directions be issued and steps be taken, expeditiously and preferably within a period of 90 days. If the interest component is attracted for delayed payment of pension, we direct that interest be calculated at the rate of Rs.6% per annum from the date the amount being payable.
