In this Petition by an order dated 29th January 2026 this Court had issued notice making it returnable today. 2.

The office note shows that service upon Respondent No.6, i.e., Pune Metropolitan Regional Development Authority is yet to be effected. 3.

Learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner submits that in view of a recent development, there is urgency in the matter. 4.

Copy of a letter dated 2nd March 2026 issued by the Executive Engineer of the Respondent No.6 - Authority to the Village Development Officer of Marunji Grampanchayat, Pune is tendered. It is submitted that in the said letter it is made clear by Respondent No.6 - Authority that immediate steps for widening of road would be undertaken. The Petitioner apprehends dispossession from his land without acquisition of the same. Purti Parab
