The Hon'ble Court may be pleased to pass appropriate order and issue appropriate Writ of Mandamus or a writ in like nature and direct the respondent no. 1 to hear and decide the revision petition no. 403/2023 filed by the petitioners, as per the provisions of the Sec. 257 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966, within stipulated period, as this Hon'ble Court deems fit.

Learned GP waives notice on behalf of Respondent No. 1 and places on record communication which is issued upon instructions

- 2 - wp1149.26.odt from the Hon'ble Minister for Revenue. The said letter is taken on record by marking Exhibit 'X'. It has been stated that atleast 5 months time would be required to dispose of the said petition. 3.

Here it is to be noted that the revision petition is pending before Respondent No. 1 since 2023. The letter Exhibit 'X' does not show anything regarding the state of the proceeding. In such circumstances, we dispose of the petition by directing Respondent No. 1 to decide Revision Petition No. 403/2023 within a period of three months from today.
