The petitioners-institution running the schools are claiming reimbursement in light of section 12 of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009.

The writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to undertake necessary scrutiny of the petitioners' proposals on its own merits and conclude it as expeditiously as possible and in any case within six weeks.
