The challenge in this writ petition arises out of issuance of certificate under Section 101 of the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act, 1960 ("MCS Act").

The petitioner is disputing the address and execution of documents. These being disputed questions of fact, this Court in its limited jurisdiction cannot adjudicate upon the disputed questions of fact. Therefore, it shall be open for the petitioner to raise such contentions before the Revisional Authority. The petitioner is, therefore, relegated to the statutory remedy of revision.

It is made clear this Court has not considered merits of contentions raised by both sides.

However, parties shall maintain status quo for a period of two weeks from today.

It is made clear that the benefit of this order shall be restricted to the petitioner only.

The writ petition stands disposed of in above terms. No costs.
