Rule. Rule is made returnable forthwith. With the consent of the learned counsel for the parties, heard finally. 2.

In this writ petition, the petitioner, inter alia, has assailed the validity of the letter dated 21st October, 2024 issued by Gopal Bhuvan Cooperative Housing Society Ltd. by which name of the petitioner from the society's record in respect of shop premises has been deleted. The petitioner in this writ petition seeks a direction to the respondent no.2 to recall the said letter dated 21st October, 2024 and include his name in the record of the society.

We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and have perused the record.

It is evident that the dispute is between the petitioner, who is a member of the society and the society. Section 91 of the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act, 1960 (Act of 1960) provides for settlement of dispute. The petitioner, thus, has a statutory alternative remedy for redressal of his grievance. We, therefore, are not inclined to entertain the writ petition.

Needless to state that in case the petitioner files a dispute under Section 91 of the Act of 1960 before the competent authority, the same shall be decided expeditiously. 6.

With the aforesaid liberty, the writ petition is disposed of.
