The petitioner by the present writ petition is challenging order dated 10 January 2025 passed by the Revisional Authority dismissing application for condonation of delay of 44 days in filing revision application arising out of order dated 18 January 2023. 3.

This Court by order dated 3 February 2025 issued notice for final disposal. The record shows that respondent No.2 is duly served.

The reasons assigned by the petitioner in the application for condonation of delay appears to be filing of application under the provisions of Right to Information Act, 2005. Therefore, for the reasons stated in paragraphs 9 to 13 of the application for

38-wp1425-2025.doc condonation of delay, the Authorities under the Act ought to have condone the delay in filing revision application. 5.

Hence, rule is made absolute in terms of prayer clause (a). 6.

The delay caused in filing the revision application is condoned.

7.

The Revisional Authority shall register revision application, and shall decide the same in accordance with law, after giving opportunity of hearing to both the sides.
