By these petitions, the petitioners seek direction to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to pay the difference amount of 7th Pay Commission to petitioners from 01/01/2016 till the actual payment along with interest.

In support of their contention, petitioners have relied upon the order dated 26/09/2024, passed by this Court [Coram: Ravindra V. Ghuge and Y. G. Khobragade, JJ.] in Civil Application No.10456/2024 in Review Application (St.) No.26538/2024 [Nanded Waghala City Municipal Corporation and Another Vs. Tanaji SVH
2 926-WP-12636-24.odt Gangaram Kanote and Others] and other connected matters. In that matter, proposal was made by the Municipal Corporation to pay the difference amount by way of installments, which was accepted by this Court. The petitioners herein have made representation claiming the difference amount of 7th Pay Commission on 13/01/2025, which is pending for consideration before respondent Nos.2 and 3.

Learned advocate for respondent Nos.2 and 3 submits that, by order dated 06/02/2023 respondent No.2 has constituted Five Members' Committee headed by the Chief Accountant, to calculate the difference of amount and it is directed to submit it's report of such calculations.

In the light of the above, respondent No.2 is directed to release the difference amount of petitioners as per it's financial condition, within a period of twelve weeks from today, if necessary, by way of installments.
