Present petition has been filed for various reliefs including relief prayer clause 'D', which reads thus :- "D.

Direct respondent No.1 (UGC) to expedite the process of equivalence certification for the Petitioner's M.Sc. (Sustainable Agriculture) degree issued by Newcastle University, U.K., and to communicate the same to respondent No.3 University forthwith." 2.

Heard learned Advocate for the petitioner. Learned Advocate Mr. Bhushan B. Kularni waives notice for respondent No.1. Learned AGP waives notice for respondent No.2.

Learned Advocate for respondent No.1 has been provided with necessary particulars in respect of the PG details of the petitioner by the learned Advocate for the petitioner today itself and learned Advocate for respondent No.1 submits that he has forwarded the same to respondent No.1.

Unless the application for equivalence certification of petitioner's M.Sc. (Sustainable Agriculture) degree issued by Newcastle University, U.K. is decided, further direction to respondent No.3 University will not arise and, therefore, the said decision is necessary. Taking into consideration the same, since the details have been provided, we direct respondent No.1 to decide the application for equivalence certification of petitioner's M.Sc. (Sustainable Agriculture) degree issued by Newcastle University, U.K. within a period of one month from today. 5.
