The petitioners are also challenging the same judgment and order dated 16.01.2025 which has been set aside by this Court in Writ Petition No.1555 of 2025 vide order dated 21.04.2026 in the case of Nitin Kisan Mudale and Another Vs. State of Maharashtra and Ors. Without discussing the reasons elaborately, we find that the issue Narwade

981-wp-1557-2025 -2involved in these petitions is squarely covered by the order passed by this Court in the case of Nitin Kisan Mudale (supra), hence, we pass the following order :- :: O R D E R ::

i.

The Writ Petitions are partly allowed.

ii.

Impugned order dated 16.01.2025 passed by Respondent No.2/Scrutiny Committee thereby invalidating the tribe claim of the petitioners of belonging to 'Koli Mahadev', Scheduled Tribe, is hereby quashed and set aside. iii.

Respondent No.2/Scrutiny Committee is directed to issue validity certificates to the petitioners of belonging to 'Koli Mahadev', Scheduled Tribe.

iv.

Needless to state that the validity certificates granted to the petitioners will be co-terminus with the validity certificate of Ramrao Shamrao Mudale.

v.

The petitioners shall not claim equities.
