The challenge in this writ petition are to the orders passed by the Revisional Authority in exercise of their powers under Sections 247 and 257 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966. Undisputedly the appeal filed by the petitioners under Section 247 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 was after 20 years. 2.

Therefore, the authorities below have rightly rejected petitioners' claim. However, it shall be open for the petitioners to institute civil suit to establish his rights over the property which is the subject-matter of revenue entry.

Hence, keeping all contentions raised by the petitioners in this writ petition open to be agitated before the civil Court, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
