The petitioner is raising challenge to the order dated 06.01.2025 passed by the Divisional Joint Registrar, Pune Division, Pune / respondent No. 4 in Misc. Application No. 16 of 2024. 2.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the original application was dismissed in default by Respondent No. 4. Subsequently, the petitioner filed a restoration application, which was also rejected vide the impugned order. Instead of deciding the lis on merit, the authorities have adopted technical approach while rendering the order under challenge.

In view of the fact that the order dated 06.01.2025 passed by the Divisional Joint Registrar, Pune Division, Pune (Respondent No.4) in Misc. Application No.16 of 2024 is hereby quashed and set aside.

The petitioner is directed to appear before the Divisional Joint Registrar, Pune Division, Pune, on 24.04.2026. 5.

It is clarified that any further action against the petitioner shall be subject to the final outcome of the proceedings before the Divisional Joint Registrar, Pune.

Since the proceedings are dismissed in default and this being innocuous order, the writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid directions.
