Since the aforesaid writ petition is restored back to its original file by a separate order passed in Interim Application No.12267 of 2025, the aforesaid petition is taken up for hearing. 2.

By this petition, the petitioner seeks quashing and setting aside of the order dated 11th November 2024 passed by the respondent No.2. The petitioner also seeks a direction to the 1/3

respondents to issue UDID Disability Certificate to the petitioner based on the reports and Assessment of Sir J. J. Hospital. 3.

Vide order dated 21st August 2025, we had directed the respondent No.5 - Medical Superintendent of Sir J.J. Medical College & Groups of Hospitals, Mumbai, to consititute a Board, as mandated in law, to examine the petitioner and assess her disability for visual impairment, Locomotion Disability as well as hearing impairment and submit a report to this Court. Accordingly the respondent No.5 had submitted a Medical report vis-a-vis the petitioner's disability. The said report was taken on record.

Today, learned Addl.G.P. on instructions states that a fresh certificate of disability issued by Sir J.J. Medical College & Groups of Hospitals, Mumbai, will be placed before the appellate authority. He further states that the appellate authority will consider whether the petitioner is eligible to be issued UDID Certificate on the basis of the fresh certificate issued by Sir J.J. Medical College & Groups of 2/3

Hospitals, Mumbai.

Needless to state, that the decision will be taken uninfluenced by the certificate issued earlier and shall be based on the fresh certificate issued by Sir J.J. Medical College & Groups of Hospitals, Mumbai.

In view of the aforesaid statement made by the learned Addl.G.P. on instructions, nothing survives for further consideration in this petition. The petition stands disposed of accordingly. 7.

Stand over to 20th November 2025, for recording compliance of the aforesaid order.
