It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that they are owners of lands bearing Survey Nos.64/2 and 64/9 situated at Khadakghewandi, Taluka Maval, District Pune. By the communication dated 14th November 2013, the petitioners were informed that the aforesaid two lands had not been acquired. The petitioners continue to be in possession. It is however apprehended that in view of Mutation Entry No.467 relating to those two lands, the petitioners would be dispossessed. The have therefore moved an application dated 7th October 2024 before the Collector seeking restoration of their names as owners of the aforesaid lands. The aforesaid application is still pending. 2.
In aforesaid facts, since the petitioners' application dated 7th October 1/2 Digitally signed by SNEHA ABHAY DIXIT Date:

2024 is not yet considered by the respondent no.3 - the Collector or any other authority found fit by him is directed to consider the said application within a period of six weeks from appearance of the petitioners or their representatives before the Collector or such other authority found fit by him. The petitioners be granted an opportunity of hearing and liberty to place on record all relevant documents in support of their application. The representatives of the petitioners shall initially appear in the Office of the Collector with a copy of this order on 20th February 2025. 3.
Needless to state that if the petitioners are not satisfied with the outcome of aforesaid exercise, the petitioners are free to adopt appropriate legal remedy.
