In this petition respondent - State Authorities have taken a specific objection about there being an alternative remedy in the form of Appeal under Section 247 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966. Prima facie, this Court is convinced that there is indeed an alternative remedy and that the petitioner will have to demonstrate how the present writ petition is maintainable.
