1) Considering the prayers made in the Petition, it appears that the Petition does not pertain to the assignment of the Single Judge of this Court. Though Single Judge of this Court has decided Writ Petition No. 4268 of 2018, the challenge therein was to the judgment and order dated 9 November 2016 passed by the Central Government Industrial Tribunal No.2, Mumbai. While not disturbing the order passed by the Tribunal, this Court granted liberty to make representation for sanctioning of compassionate allowance. The request for sanction of compassionate allowance has been rejected by the Respondent-Employer by impugned order dated 15 October 2024. Since there is no judicial or quasi judicial adjudication, Petition under provisions of Section 227 of the Constitution of India would not lie before Single Judge of this Court. 2) Removed from board.
