The present petition has been filed seeking directions to Respondent No. 2 - The Special Land Acquisition Officer, to decide the applications filed by the Petitioners under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act dated 11.03.2019 and further to pay the enhanced amount of compensation to the petitioners within a stipulated period. 2.

Learned AGP waives notice for Respondent Nos. 1 and 2. Since the matter is pending before Respondent No. 2, the learned AGP, upon instructions, submits that the said applications will be decided within a period of eight (8) weeks.

We accept the statement made by learned AGP as an undertaking to the Court and dispose of the Writ Petition by directing Respondent No. 2 to decide the said applications within a period of eight
