Pursuant to our order dated 20th February 2025, the Petitioner's Medical Termination of Pregnancy has been performed. We are informed that the Petitioner is recovering and recuperating well; that, her course has been uneventful and soon she will be ready for discharge from gynecological point of view. It is further stated that however the decision for final discharge will be taken only after second counselling session is done and after ascertaining the complete physical and mental well-being of the Petitioner. 2.
Learned APP informs that the second counselling session is scheduled for 27th February 2025. We are of the opinion that the Gaikwad RD 1/2
902-wp-2366-2025.doc Petitioner be kept till 3rd March 2025 and if required one more counselling session be done before the Petitioner is discharged. The Petitioner to be discharged on 3rd March 2025, subject to the doctor ascertaining the Petitioner's physical and mental well-being. The report tendered by the learned APP is taken on record. 3.
As far as child is concerned, he is admitted in Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit and is under the care of the Pediatrics. 4.
Stand over to 4th March 2025. To be listed on the supplementary board.
