Rule. Rule is made returnable forthwith. With the consent of the learned counsel for the parties, heard finally. 2.

In this writ petition, the petitioner, inter alia, is seeking direction to the respondents to admit the petitioner as a member of Hicon Enclave Cooperative Housing Society Limited subject to payment of outstanding dues.

Learned counsel for the petitioner during the course of submission fairly pointed out that the proceeding under Section 23(2) of the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act,

7-WP-2448-2025 1960 (Act of 1960) is pending before the Deputy Registrar, Cooperative Societies since 1st August, 2023 and the writ petition be disposed of with a direction to the Deputy Registrar to decide the same in a time bound manner. 4.

On the other land, learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that the aforesaid proceeding under Section 23(2) of the Act of 1960 shall be decided within such time as may be fixed by this Court.

In view of aforesaid submission and in the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Deputy Registrar, Cooperative Societies, to decide the proceeding preferred by the petitioner under Section 23(2) of the Act of 1960 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
