The challenge in this writ petition is to an order passed by the Tehsildar in exercise of powers under the provisions of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 which are quasi judicial authority, against which the petitioners have remedy of two appeals and two revisions under the Act.

Hence, in view of the judgment of the Supreme Court in Commissioner of Income Tax & Ors. v. Chhabil Dass Agarwal reported in 2014 (1) SCC 603, it is not necessary for this Court to interfere with the exercise of power by the authorities under the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 in furtherance of decree of

7-wp2590-2025.doc partition passed by the Civil Court.

The writ petition, accordingly, stands dismissed. No costs. (AMIT BORKAR, J.)
