On 5 March 2025 this Bench had passed the following order: "1.We adjourn the proceedings on 7 March 2025 at 2.30 p.m. so that information can be obtained from the learned District Judge-17, Pune as to the status of adjudication of the proceedings of Regular Civil Appeal No.100558 of 2015.

2. The Registry to immediately forward a copy of this order and receive appropriate instructions."

In pursuance of the said order, a report is received by the Registrar (Judicial-I) from the District Judge-14 and Additional Sessions Judge, Pune, stating that the Regular Civil Appeal No.100558/2015 is pending on the file of the said Judicial Officer and is at the stage of awaiting the record and proceeding of the trial Court. We are surprised to note that the record and proceedings of the appeal of the year 2015 are not forwarded within the 06 March 2025

902WP2764-25.DOC same Civil Court premises inter se between the Trial Court and the District Judge, Pune. We feel that this is a disturbing state of affairs. We, accordingly, direct the Principal District Judge, Pune to inquire into reasons for such delay and an accountability in that regard be fixed. A report in that regard be placed before the Court on the adjourned date of hearing. 3.

This order be immediately forwarded to the learned Principal District Judge, Pune.
