The question as to whether the decree holder is entitled to interest on the amount which was deposited as a part of the consideration, arises for consideration.

Issue notice to the Respondents for final disposal, returnable on 24 March 2025.

Mr. Patil, learned Counsel, waives service of notice on behalf of Respondent Nos.1 and 2.

Respondents are at liberty to file affidavit in reply and serve its copy on the Petitioner within a period of three weeks from today. 6.

In the meanwhile, there shall be an ad-interim relief in terms of prayer clause (e) of the Petition.
