Pursuant to the interim direction issued by this Court on 28/02/2025, it is informed that the petitioner has now been admitted at the MD-General Medicine course at the respondent no.4 Institution. As a consequence, the seat in MD Orthopedics which had been alloted to the petitioner has now fallen vacant. Thus the purpose of filing the writ petition has been served. 2.
We note that on 20/03/2025, a request was made on behalf of the respondent no.4 seeking issuance of necessary directions to the respondent nos.1 and 2 for filling in the vacant seat in the subject of MS Orthopedics. This Court had observed that it was open for the Medical Council to fill in the vacant seat in 1/2
914 -WP-2873-2025.doc Rameshwar Dilwale accordance with law. The learned counsel for the respondent no.4 seeks issuance of further directions in this regard. It would be open for the respondent no.4 to initiate appropriate proceedings in that regard wherein such grievance can be considered. Keeping that aspect raised by the learned counsel for the respondent no.4 open, the writ petition is disposed of.
