Heard learned counsel for the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that one member inquiry committee was set up by Revenue and Forest Department to carry out the inquiry and investigation in the matter of illegal transfer, of 83 acres of land bearing Survey Nos. 40 to 58 situated at Mouza Mharal, Taluka Kalyan, District Thane, in favour of agency builder. The petitioners are members of the Mharal Sahakari Samudayik Sheti Sahakari Sanstha. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that respondent No.5 is the society which holds rights over the subject land. Respondent No.6 is the private limited company in whose favour the subject land has already been transferred. The petitioners, in respect of the subject transfer, had made a detailed representation dated 18.10.2024 which is at page 49, to the Additional Collector, Konkan Revenue Department, Government of Maharashtra. As one man committee of respondent No.2 has been set up, we have no manner of doubt that the inquiry would be conducted expeditiously and same would be taken to its logical conclusion. The representation of the petitioners dated 18.10.2024 be duly considered by respondent No.2. Learned counsel for the petitioners states that the petitioners are willing to appear before respondent No.2 and assist respondent No.2 in the course of the inquiry. Should respondent No.2 need the assistance of the petitioner, due notices be given to the petitioners. Inquiry to proceed expeditiously and be completed preferably within six months from today. Learned AGP to place the copy of this order before respondent No.2. 2.

The writ petition is disposed of.
