It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the District Superintendent of Land Records by his order dated 10th January 2022 allowed the appeal preferred by the petitioners under Section 247 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966. The respondent no.3 without availing the statutory remedy made complaints before the Deputy Director of Land Records and pursuant to the same, the impugned communication dated 30th September 2024 came to be issued invoking powers under Section 258 of the Code and granting permission to review the earlier order.
